Q. There are a lot of backtracking in Asgard Summits and associated areas. What is a stamina efficient way to get through this area? (**Tip version**)
A. This area requires you to go further into the zone to collect quest items that you later have to backtrack to complete. The best way to avoid circling is to take notes of the quest requirements and rewards for each room as you move forward. This way, you will have a good idea of which room needs which quest items.

Q. Where can I get the Dracolich?
A. It can be purchased from the shop in 6th Circle of Hell.
Q. Where can I get the Archangle Helm?
A. It can be purchased from the shop in 6th Circle of Hell.
Q. OMG! How can we defeat the Beast in 9th Circle of Hell? ("Beast" beginneth with the letter "B", and "Bastard" beginneth with the letter "B", so does "B****" beginneth with the letter...but I digress)
A. It's very difficult. It has about 1000-ish life, but does over 10,000 damage a round. Unless there's a special trick that I couldn't figure out, it relies purely on the luck of damage nullifying skills to go off enough times for you to kill it. You can also hope for enough damage through special effects in the first round to kill it before its turn.
Having Ascension armor really helps here because of its full heal ability. If you really want to do this quest, you just have to bring a lot of gold to purchase healing potions after each defeat, and keep at it. Having blessings is a plus because it may take many tries.
Two examples of equipment setup for the Beast: (Your milage may vary)
- Ascension, Unholy regard/3 Fates/Armageddon, Invisibility spell, Dragon tail, Behemoth
- Ascension, Unholy regard/3 Fates/Armageddon, Invisbility spell, Invisibility spell, Behemoth
Q. What were your favorite "grind" spots for items, gold, and experience?
A. There were many places. My general preference is to look for quests that:
- Yield an item I'd like to stockpile at a relatively decent rate of 15-25%
- It should yield decent amount of gold
- Experience comes as you repeat quests, so I'm not overly concerned with this. But some quests do give very nice experience points in addition to other perks.
Examples would be:
1. "Slay the Hellkite wyvern" in Cyrene jungles.
Gold: 250-500g
Experience: +12
Reward: Inferno
Item drop: 20% chance
Required:
Stamina: 6
Orc head

Ability & Item Specific
Q. How did you equip two Accessories?
A. This is a misc. item given as a reward for the "Earn Master Thieve's repect" quest in Realm of Midgard. Midgard is between Nidavellir Tavern and Holy City of Rose-Croix
Q. How did you manually pick your equipment?
A. This is a misc. item given as a reward for the "Slaughter queen vampire" quest given in the Pool of Blood room of Castle Dracul. It is called "Weapon Proficiency". ** Note: This quest is entirely optional at this time, but it requires 20 Blessings to complete.
Q. What does Resurrection do? Is it worth getting?
A. It works like an instant full heal when your life reaches 0 in combat. If you can manage it, it's nice to have. But unless there's a quest that requires it, it's not a big deal in my opinion.
Here's an example of what it does:
You equipped: Injustice, Ascension, Dragon tail x2, and Behemoth
[Pestilence Horseman] You unleashed Pestilence for 697 damages!
The Beast attacked you for 8612 damages.
[Resurrection] You performed an unholy resurrection. Came back to life.
[Injustice] You dealt injustice for 426 damages!
You defeated The Beast.

Character Specific
Q. How does Party size work in this game?
A. Party size only comes into play for Wars in this game right now. Very simply, each member in your "party" equips a set of the best spare items in your inventory for Wars. The game takes the total combined Atk and Def of you and your opponent, then deal one round of damage each. Whomever does the most damage (after any special effects, multipliers, and damage reduction from Def) is the winner.
Aside from the randomness of special effects going off (procc'ing). There also seems to be a damage variation to your normal damage. Sometimes you will deal the higher end damage, sometimes you will deal the lower end damage. This can cause Wars with players who are similar to you in power to swing back and forth depending on luck.
Please note that the level and equipment of the actual players in your party do not seem to have any bearing on your Wars. They serve only has placeholders for your own items.
All your spare items will be used up to your Pary size. For example, if you had 15 Silver Edges, and your Party size was 12, then only 12 of them would be used in the calculation. Likewise, if you had 15 Gold Wings, and your Party size was 20, then only 15 Gold Wings can be used in the calculation. This rule applies to: Armor; Weapon; Accessory; Mount.
So to win Wars in Elven Blood right now, the game requires you to have the largest Party size and maximum number of party members equipped with the best items you can get; relative to your opponent.
Q. How should I distribute my attribute points?
A. There are different camps about how to distribute your attribute points. I went for pure strength because it's clear that +1 str = +1 Atk and +1 Def. It's not so clear what exactly +1 agi does for critical and dodge rates. As the usual case with MMO's and RPG's, I suspected that dexterity builds tended to be more reliant on chance than strength builds.
Stamina is very important when you want to do many things at once without having to rest. Many new areas require you to travel extensively from one room to another to complete quests. So it makes life easier when your stamina pool is reasonably large (at least 100). Also, you can wait longer before your stamina pool regenerates to full. This helps when you don't want to keep coming back to spend your stamina every 20 minutes. Lastly, if you purchase Stamina regeneration services with Blessings, then you'd get a higher rate of return on your investments by having a higher stamina pool.
Life is probably good to keep at a level where you can do the contents without dying. Depending on your Str and/or Dex, I'd say about plus/minus 170 base is good enough for the current contents (Nightmare Sanctuary).
In the end, there's no one sure way, but I'd recommend that you look at some of the top players and see which route they took, and find the one most like your play-style.
Q. What is a Blessing, and how do I obtain more?
A. Blessings are "tokens" that Elven Blood players can use to trade for some special services such as regenerating to full stamina or health. Each player is given 10 free Blessings when they first started the game.
There are a couple of ways to get Blessings right now. If you switch to the Elder Tree tab on your Elven Blood application, you'll see a list of Offerings. These are basically ads you can complete for the number of Blessings that they provide. Please be advised to read the fine lines on these Offerings. Some of them have been noted to create spams to your machine and/or require you to sign-up for a paid service in advance. Some have trial periods that result in recurring charges if not canceled within the trial period.
Another way is to purchase the Blessings directly through a Facebook application called the "Spare Change" at the rate of $1 USD for 4 Blessings. You should see that option on the Elder Tree page as well. There is a daily limit of $50 USD purchase through Spare Change at this time.
Q. "Hi, can I join your party?"
A. I would love to have you on board. Please just kindly send over a Friend request and game invitation when you get a moment. Thank you. :)
For most players I know, there is no real expectation that one would have to ask to join the party first. Most players are probably in need of party members.
Each player can send out 20 Elven Blood invitations daily. So take advantage of those.
Q. Is there a way to compete in this game right now without having to spend a load of money on Blessings?
A. Right now, you might be able to compete in the highest number of War wins and richest categories without having to spend money on Blessings. There are many players who take advantage of their sizable party and simply purchase as many of the cheapest weapons, armors, and mounts they can get. This strategy works very well to increase ones record at low to mid level range because there are many players who do not yet have a good grasp of the War mechanics of Elven Blood. These players can stay at a comfortable level range (40-50) and just attack weaker players for wins and gold.
Incidentally, this is also one of the more effective ways to fight-off "raider" players if you find yourself attacked daily. It's time to play their game and buff up that party size and outfit all of them elves for war. :)
Q. I love to War with other Elves. Is there a way to quickly see who's in my party?
A. It really would be nice to have a filter option. The best way (not the most accurate) I found is to view the player's profile from the War panel. You would be asked to add the person as a Friend if s/he is not on your list. In that case, you can be relatively sure that you are not attacking one of your own by mistake.
Q. I'm mid level 30's around the Palace of Count Marquis Delacroix, but I'm starting to get daily raider hits. What should I do?
A. That is a difficult situation. On one hand, you are a bit far from City of Gold area. On the other hand, you are not quite there yet for the Underdark area. Depending on whether you have access to Blessings or not, the speed to implement defenses can be fast or slow.
Since you are already at the Delacroix area. My recommendation is to push on ahead into the Underdark and Nidavellir Mines areas. There, you can repeat the quests for Redemptions/Mithril Axes and Elvan Plates. These are the staple items to stockpile in preparation for Wars at higher level. So doing this has the benefits of giving you some money and items that you need, in addition to experience. If you follow this route, you might want to consider spending the money on the Planar Panthers there. This way, you build up a cycle of getting items that you need, and spending the money on useful items to reduce chances of being raided without having to travel.
If you have a good sum of money now and wish to solve the problem quickly. You might want to consider buying as many Gold Wings and Atlas Silvers as you can. These are very cheap and can be rather effective against common raiders in large numbers.
All of this, of course, depends on your party size. If it is less than that of the regular raiders attacking you, then you'd also have to work on matching that and outfitting them all accordingly.
All in all, I believe most raiders are after your money in addition to the win. If you can eliminate your stash by investing them into items you'll need, you can probably reduce a good number of raids to start with.
Q. I noticed that the newer areas such as Heaven and Hell have significantly decreased item drop rate. Is there a reason we should be stocking these items? Do you feel that the new stats enhancing potions are worth it?
A. I definitely share your observation. This trend is just like the new areas in Blood Lust. They have very low drop rates but very powerful and costly items. I see this as a move to further "induce" the players to purchase Blessings. Not that there's anything wrong with it.
To answer your question, I think the key to consider is how many of those powerful items do we need? I know that having duplicate items with special abilities (procs) do not stack. I also know that most of these items do not need to be equipped personally on your character in order to have a chance at triggering. These two factors combined lead me to the decision to only get one or two of them, and then move my focus to getting items with higher drop rate and gold. Right now, I'm loving the"Spar once more with your child" quest for Belief. Give that a shot. :)
Personally, I don't think it's worth buying any of the new potions. Your base character stats don't mean that much for Wars right now. Unless there's something inherently wrong with your build that you find it hard to complete quests, I don't see a point in getting them at this time.

Misc.
Q. How can I quickly increase my party size? (No, not with Viagra)
A. There are various Facebook groups with this in mind. One of the largest one is the "Elven Blood Add Me Group".
Here's the link:
http://www.facebook.com/no
Take a look at the Party Add threads on the discussion board there if you don't mind mass adding :).
